i have never experienced so many ups and downs within a year. i would say 2009 was quite a tough year for me and thought of giving up but you know, kind of glad that i survived and grown up a lot.

• got into a small accident on the first day of CNY
• last FOW/FOC
• last SL camp (last time being programmer after countless times and still missing it)
• being a programme head for week zero (awesome experience. end my poly life with a BANG!)
• graduated from TP with merit
• back working at Prudential with a little misunderstanding here and there
• taiwan trip with the best company! :D (they are my happy pills)
• single-hood
• got into SMU (sports camp, freshman orientation camp, bondue)
• high fever for my entire birthday week
• injured both my legs on the same week
• screwed up my bidding (3.5 CUs, tell me about that)
• going out with JY (oh wells oh wells)
• got drunk many times
• spent $123 on drinking!
• join dragonboat
• got to know awesome people in SMU
• broke down many times (took me quite some time to adapt to school)
• successful bidding for semester 2!
• awesome and most exciting study week ever with L! :) (supper, twilight, mugging)
• had my first exam in SMU
• happy with results and GPA
• well-spent one month break

from a poly kid to a uni student
from being super dependent on D to learning how to handle things myself
from BSC to dragonboat
from being sheltered to learning how to handle stress
from a non-alcoholic to an alcoholic (HAHA!)
and i sure learn a lot from JY :) add on to my memories huh! HAHA!
sad times, yes! but they definitely toughen us up for more challenging stuff in the future :D

The end of the year, or should I say, the start of a brand new year is looming, and I still can't believe how fast time really flies. 2009 hasn't been a really good year for me so no point looking back and let it get the best of me. Mistakes have been made and  lessons have been learnt, so I guess it's time to move on with a new perspective towards life. Not really looking forward to a brand new year because school is really killing, Mid-year receives more anticipation but I gotta first pull through the first half of the year. It's very challenging and I can just hope for the best.

And oh, I've finally turned 20 but when I look at myself in the mirror, I see someone who has passed 20 for a couple of years. I feel so much older than 20 - physically, mentally and emotionally. I do hope that I will learn and mature more from what the new year brings me to. It's gonna be tough, no doubt about that, Hope I would be able to overcome obstacles with belief, faith and perseverence. May I possess the strength and will to tide me over the tough times ahead. All the best :D

its christmas eve and i'm stuck at home with medicine, water and my bed. HAHA! gonna give family christmas gathering a missed. the past few days was really well-spent with the bestest company ever. :) :) :)

Why did the kiss turn Tiana into a frog?!
Couldn't the kiss turn the frog back into the prince like in 'The Frog Prince'?
Disney had to complicate things.. like love isn't complicated enough?

I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the movie.. I loved it.
But to think about it... it's us, human beings, who complicate things.
Even a simple fairy tale had to be given a modern twist to it, and all that added complications.

The princess and the frog, the prince and the princess, the frog and the frog, the frog princess, the pauper and the frog?
Are you confused?

Why can't the game of love be as simple as Snakes & Ladders?!

sounds boring huh. but this is what i exactly need after rushing here and there for the past few months. oh wells! CHRISTMAS PADDLE TMRRRRR! EXCITED :) :) :)
